I agree play the kid, lets see what what he has.....this management team really messed up this year for this kid. - JoeSabre
I agree and and so have the coaches. I keep hearing people, including those on 97 rock and WGR, saying that he's been a disappointment in his rookie season because of his low point totals. Someone should explain to them what the effect of having Scott and Kaleta/Hecht on your line has on your ability to put up points. I mean it really couldn't be more obvious or self explanatory.
Galchenyuk has been playing with good players most of the year on a successful team. He also has been playing on the wing and doesn't have as much responsibility. (Just in case anyone wants a comparison).
Prohockeytalk reported that if he plays three more games he isn't eligible for the Calder Cup, just wondering what your thoughts on that are; is it important or not?
IMHO it would be stupid to waste his opportunity for that, have him play 2 games not three, then get to Rochester for the playoffs.
Hopefully he's not playing to impress Rolston, HOPEFULLY Regier is gone for next year and then Rolston probably will be too. I am not saying RR is bad, but Regier is!
Teams I could see needing a starter in net next year.
Calgary
Colorado
Columbus
Edmonton
Florida
New Jersey (If Marty retires)
NY Islanders
Phoenix San Jose ( I think this is one of the best options) Get Niemi+ back
Washington

wrong thread, whats that got to do with grigo? - dansmail26
Oops, forgot.
I edited after looking harder at CBJ and SJ. Bobrovski and Niemi are playing great. Cross those teams off the list, depending on how SJ does in the playoffs.
I want Rolston gone more than Regier. He is not a NHL caliber coach. His love of Hecht should be proof enough. Of all the people left to on this team that shouldn't be playing he is number 1. He has become a definsive liabilty and has no offense what so ever. Yet according to all reports he is Rolstons fav. player and has nothing but good things to say about him. He hasn't turned anything around in my mind and says some of the best games they have played were losses. He benched Kaleta an extra game as punishment for what exactly? To prove he was the boss? Personally I belive we should have kept Ruff and gotten rid of Pominville earlier.( like two years earlier personnaly) He wasnt a NHL captain more of an AHl one. After Breier left it showed how usless he really was. Now hopefully with Hecht gone next year and hopefully stafford too and with some more trades( don't touch Ott Kaleta or Gerbe) hopefully we can watch a better team next year.
As each game passes the fans become more alienated towards this team and organization. This has become a serious situation with keeping Regier as GM. I don't mind the fans booing but now you have players specifically Miller mocking the boos, that is just downright shameful and embarassing for the entire organization and reflects extremely poorly on Pegula. Trading Miller or Vanek or both honestly is not the first answer. What happens if the team starts 0-5 next season? Pegula will HAVE to fire Regier because the atmosphere will be even more toxic and then the organization will be even further set back. This needs to be done now Terry and Co.
after the other night i dont think he cares where he goes as long as it isnt here. - qcstudios
This, ideally Los Angeles, Anaheim or San Jose would be Miller´s choice for obvious reasons but not sure a deal is there because of their starting goalies.
Columbus
NYI
Calgary
Edmonton
Florida
Winnipeg
Those are 6 I can think of but who else would he not want to play for?
Phoenix?
Nashville?
Carolina?
